Heritage Run – Shatin District

We are excited to announce that Heritage Run is entering into its third year, and this time we have some thrilling additions in for you! Over the past two years, Heritage Run has taken participants through various regions, such as Central and Western, Kowloon City, Tsuen Wan, Kwai Tsing, Yau Tsim Mong, and Eastern districts.

This year, we are delighted to introduce the scenic landscapes of Sha Tin and the Northern Metropolis into our itinerary, allowing you to delve into the hidden gems of these vibrant communities. Our goal is to provide a unique and immersive experience that combines fitness with the discovery of Hong Kong’s captivating culture, history, and stories. Heritage Run includes a walking and running tour led by a professional docent team that gudies participants through local landmarks and attractions.

Shatin Route will conduct on 28 April and is now open for enrolment The route kicks off at Shatin MTR station, taking you through the area of Pai Tau Village, where you will immerse yourself in the charm of old village scenery. From there, you will climb to the Tao Fung Shan Christian Centre, where you can marvel at the iconic huge cross and explore the fascinating lotus Crypt and other architectural wonders. Continuing on, you will pass through the Tung Lo Wan Tsuen to visit the the Li Cottage and the Pok Ngar Villa. Nest, you will venture into Tai Wai Old Village to experience the authentic scenery of a traditional Hong Kong-style walled village. Finally, your journey will lead you to Tsang Tai Uk via Che Kung Temple, where you can uncover the history of the local Shatin residents. The run will conclude at the Sha Tin Road Safety Town, with the Old House at Wong Uk Village serving as the final destination.
